Smarter travel management with an integrated platform

Lever Reizen, a travel organization specializing in ski group trips, faced several challenges. How do you maintain oversight and efficiency in a dynamic travel organization? How do you ensure seamless collaboration between all involved parties? We developed a future-proof platform that optimizes travel management and facilitates cooperation.

Technology

We developed a modern software platform for this project using the latest technologies. The system is built on a robust and flexible framework, making it easily scalable and maintainable.

The challenge

Initially, Lever Reizen was operating with an outdated administrative system. This system was no longer up to date, and the original developer had ceased support, leading to operational issues.

Client’s question 

At first, Lever Reizen requested repairs to the existing system to allow them to continue their operations. Soon after, the need arose for a fully rebuilt and improved system, expanded with multiple portals for customers, instructors, and transport providers.

Our solution

We chose a phased approach. First, we repaired the old system to restore its usability. Next, we built a new, robust platform and expanded it with three additional portals to optimize collaboration among all parties involved.

Road to success

The project started in 2019 and has been continuously evolving ever since. Our team of developers and specialists worked closely with Lever Reizen throughout the process. After the initial delivery, we entered a support phase, performing maintenance, fixing bugs, and implementing periodic improvements. For example, in Q4 2024, we dedicated two full sprints to system optimization.

Impact

We developed a complete digital platform that streamlines travel management and enhances collaboration. This platform consists of four main components:

  • Administrative System: Central hub for travel management, invoicing, and customer data.
  • Customer Portal: Representatives and participants can manage their trips and access relevant information.
  • Instructor Portal: Instructors can view their schedules and upload documents.
  • Bus Portal: Drivers and transport providers can manage trip details and routes.

With this integrated system, Lever Reizen now has an efficient, scalable, and user-friendly solution that reduces administrative burdens and enhances the travel experience for all involved.
