All services Secure software development & AI-assisted cybersecurity

Build software. Make security part of the build.

Security should not start with a penetration test at the end of a project. Infodation integrates security into software development, from architecture and code to testing, vulnerability analysis and continuous improvement.

Why this matters

Every new component is also a new place to look for weaknesses

Modern applications are assembled from more and more parts. Each one adds value, and each one widens the attack surface. Software security is no longer something you can check once, at the end.

What a modern application is made of

  • Code
  • APIs
  • Dependencies
  • Cloud services
  • Integrations
  • AI components
The usual question

Is the application working?

The question that also needs answering

Where could this application be abused?

Application security means asking both questions throughout development, not just before go-live.

What we do

Four ways we make software security part of the work

Not a separate security department that reviews your software afterwards, but engineers who take security into account in every decision they make.

01

Secure software development

Security is part of architecture, development and deployment: threat-aware design choices, secure defaults, code review and checks in the pipeline.

02

Vulnerability analysis & remediation

We find vulnerabilities, assess their real impact, prioritise them and fix them in a targeted way, instead of producing a long list without follow-up.

03

AI-assisted security reviews

We use AI to analyse codebases, patterns and potential vulnerabilities in more depth than a manual review alone allows. Engineers verify the findings.

04

Architecture & dependency security

We identify risks in architecture, external libraries, dependencies, APIs and integrations: the places where risk often enters unnoticed.

Anthropic Cyber Verification Program

Advanced AI for defensive cybersecurity

Infodation has been accepted into Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program with Defense Access, giving our teams access to Claude Mythos 5.1 for approved defensive cybersecurity use cases.

We can use this capability to analyze software we develop or maintain, investigate potential vulnerabilities and support engineers in understanding and remediating security issues.

How we apply it

  • Defensive use only, within the approved scope of the programme.
  • Applied to software we develop or maintain.
  • Every finding is verified by an engineer before anything changes.
  • Remediation is done by the team that knows the codebase.

Models and programmes evolve. Our approach does not depend on a single tool: security built into the lifecycle, with engineers accountable for the result.

Security across the lifecycle

Security is not a final check. It runs through the whole lifecycle.

Every phase of software development has its own security questions. We address them where they arise, so issues are cheaper to fix and less likely to reach production.

  1. Step 1

    Architecture

Identify risks in the design: data flows, trust boundaries, integrations and access.

  2. Step 2

    Build

Develop with secure defaults, code review and automated checks in the pipeline.

  3. Step 3

    Analyze

Examine code and dependencies for vulnerabilities, supported by AI-assisted analysis.

  4. Step 4

    Verify

Engineers assess each finding: is it real, is it exploitable and what is the impact?

  5. Step 5

    Remediate

Fix what matters first, test the fix and make sure it does not introduce new issues.

  6. Step 6

    Improve

Feed lessons back into architecture, standards and the next release.

Security + AI

AI doesn't only change how software is built. It changes how software can be secured.

We use AI both to develop software and for defensive analysis. That makes deeper reviews possible across larger codebases. It does not replace the engineers who understand the context, weigh the risks and take responsibility for the fix.

  • Human oversight

AI supports the analysis; engineers decide what is relevant and what happens next.

  • Verification

AI findings are treated as leads to investigate, not as conclusions.

  • Remediation by engineers

Fixes are designed, tested and delivered by the people who build and maintain the software.
